What's under the hood.

Let's start with smartpeach.com - how is it built.

The javascript frameworks Prototype and Scriptaculous are implemented for the masthead slider and client-side form validation, with the original, and still the best, cross-browser lightbox2 displaying the portfolio screenshots.

Rounded corners are created not with javascript or images, but CSS3, yet to be ratified, but degrading gracefully in non compliant browsers. If you're viewing this website in Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari, then you are experiencing the glory of CSS3 corners.

A note on W3C validation: This site will return CSS validation errors on the 'webkit-border-radius' and 'moz-border-radius' properties, saying they don't exist. They do exist, along with a few other excellent features in the upcoming CSS3.

Smartpeach is hosted on a unique dual-platform sever at Netfirms in the USA, allowing both Linux and Windows applications to run at the same time.
